River Park Hospital currently has openings for psychiatrists to provide direct care to patients and their families. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, admission and on-call coverage, evaluation and treatment of patients, providing leadership to the treatment team, documentation in the medical record, and participation on the Medical Executive Committee and other committees and quality initiatives as assigned. Must be a graduate from a recognized medical school, be board certified/eligible in psychiatry, and licensed to practice medicine in the state of West Virginia. Need to have knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses and treatment, including medication, verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively with others.
