Healthcare Management Solutions LLC (HMS) is seeking potential candidates to fill anticipated Psych Medical Facilities Surveyor positions ! for a government contract. The primary function of the Surveyor is to conduct initial, re-certification, follow-up, validation, and/or full survey based on removal of deemed status and complaint surveys of psychiatric hospitals in accordance with applicable statutes, regulations and interpretive guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with CMS Principles of Documentation in maintaining and preparing records, reports, and correspondence related to the survey process.
Complete documentation with accuracy and special attention to detail using appropriate language and technology.
Verify all documentation supplies complete support rationale for all recommendations or findings.
Submit documentation according to established time deadlines.
Maintain current knowledge of CMS policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
3 years of experience working in respective field.
Psychiatric Nurse or Social Worker with appropriate! board license and certification OR
Psychiatrist â€" board! certified or board eligible.
Possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to conduct surveys of psychiatric hospitals and other providers of a similar nature in accordance with Federal laws, regulations and guidelines.
Experience with ASPEN preferred.
Prior Psychiatric Hospital Survey experience preferred.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Associate Degree required, Bachelor Degree preferred.
