Corrib House Tea Rooms and Guest accommodation are looking for waiting staff. We are a busy, highly reputable and innovative day time Cafe and Guest House located in the heart of Galway City.
We are looking to add a passionate, committed and focused individual to the Front of House team. Someone who has the passion and flair to deliver high quality service and provide a great customer service experience.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of knowledge gained from similar positions within a fast paced dynamic environment and have a true passion for the food industry.
Part time position with some evening and some weekends hours
- Present menus and the wine list to customers.
- Have full awareness of allergy information on the menus.
- Answer all inquiries about food and beverages offered by the establishment.
- Offer food and wine suggestions.
- Take a customer’s order.
- Deliver and serve food and drink to the table.
- Pre-set tables for orders.
- Maintain outstanding hygiene at all times.
- Deal with spillages, refresh glasses, replace utensils, and check with customers intermittently to ensure everything is to their satisfaction.
- Handle complaints.
- Provide the bill and process cash and card payments.
- Full compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-30 per week
Salary: From €11.40 per hour
