West Virginia University â€" Charleston Division, Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry and Charleston Area Medical Center are seeking a Psychiatry Residency Program Director.
Requirements :
BC/BE psychiatrist (subspecialty training desirable) MD/DO 3 years of recent academic psychiatry experience post residency (ACGME residency/fellowship faculty experience preferred) Recent inpatient experience Administration, teaching and supervisory responsibilities for 20+ residents in either a general psychiatry track or a med/psych track, 30+ medical students, and three PhD psychology interns. Scholarly activity strongly encouraged and supported. Well established program with full ACGME accreditation. Exceptionally high resident satisfaction. West Virginia University-Charleston Division is the oldest regional medical campus in the United States and is affiliated with West Virginia’s premiere medical teaching facility, Charleston Area Medical Center, a non-profit, 838-bed, tertiary referral center.
