Description: Talent Medical Staffing is at the momment seeking for Physician - Psychiatry (General) Opportunity only right now, this position will be designated in West Virginia. More details about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Excellent Psychiatry Opportunity in Beautiful West Virginia! Employed Opportunity for a full-time Psychiatrist to work at the newly renovated Behavioral Health Pavilion, working both outpatient and inpatient. Currently, there are two full-time Psychiatrists including the Medical Director and a 2010 graduating resident.
There is also a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and 3 Psychologists in the program. The need is to expand to three full-time Psychiatrists, two Nurse Practitioners and a Physician Assistant. Call will be at most 1:3. The practice currently functions out of one section of the whole facility that has 30 general adult beds.
As the practice expands, the facility will open a 10-bed psychiatric ICU and another wing of 26 general adult beds. Once this happens, the previous wing will be a dedicated Geriatric wing as it is already set up to accommodate ages 55 and above. This is a state of the art facility fully equipped to handle all psychiatric needs. It has been designed and constructed specifically for psychiatric function and flow.
There is also an in-house pharmacy on site. There is a verifiable need for service in the community as nearly 50% of the psychiatric referrals are being sent outside of the Pavilion due to lack of physician support. The newly hired physician will enjoy an excellent compensation package with a salary of $185,000-$220,000 and full benefits, including relocation, student loan repayment and paid malpractice.
