Further informations about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Hospital in West Virginia is seeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join their staff. Fellowship training in Geriatric Psychiatry is a plus, must have a valid DEA Certification and a West Virginia licensed is preferred. Additional Fellowship training is available (Addiction, Child/Adolescent, Forensic, Geriatric, and Psychosomatic). The Psychiatrist will direct, coordinate, and provide medical/clinical services to patients as well as serve as the attending Psychiatrist to patient(s).
Completes initial psychiatric assessments, progress notes, family interventions, develops differential diagnostic assessments, assessments of capacity for consent to treatment, risk assessments, patient education, progress towards treatment goals including medical, psychological, social, behavioral and developmental aspects of the patient’s situation. The position has a defined caseload, has productivity goals, and meets the psychiatric needs of any patient as well as participation in on-call rotation for the hospital.
