Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University is seeking an established board certified Psychiatry physician leader to assume the highly respected position of Ch! air, Department of Psychiatry. Responsibilities
The Chair is responsible for the continued development of the Department. Accordingly, the Chair will develop and oversee multidisciplinary teams for clinical treatment, promote and support educational endeavors, organize research initiatives, seek and acquire grants, and encourage publications and presentations in prestigious venues nationally. Skill Requirements
M.D. or M.D. / Ph.D. with ABPN certification is required.
Eligibility for medical licensure in West Virginia.
Demonstrated leadership experience including administrative experience and skills.
Qualifications to fulfill the Marshall University criteria for a senior level faculty appointment.
Proven background in faculty recruitment, mentoring, and development.
A nationally distinguished record as an academician, clinician and educator.
