West Virginia University School of Medicine Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry is recruiting an open rank BC/BE adult psychiatrist to assume a full time faculty position at Ches! tnut Ridge Center in Morgantown, WV. Responsibilities for this non tenure, clinical emphasis track position include inpatient and outpatient care of adults with a wide range of psychiatric diagnoses, teaching and supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents and scholarship with opportunities for research. Applicants with Forensic or Addiction fellowship training are encouraged to apply.
Our Department provides a broad range of services including inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, partial hospitalization, assertive community treatment, telepsychiatry and ECT. We also have a busy consult liaison service. In addition to our faculty of psychiatrists, neuropsychologists, psychologists and social workers we also employ clinical therapists and case managers. We provide training for a variety of disciplines including psychology, neuropsychology, nursing, social work, counseling and medical students. We have 21 general psychiatry residents and have fel! lowships in child and adolescent psychiatry and forensic psych! iatry.
