Description: LOGAN-MINGO AREA MENTAL HEALTH is hiring Psychiatrist right now, this vacancy will be assigned in West Virginia. Logan-Mingo Area Mental Health, Inc. is a comprehensive community mental health center established in 1970 located in the southwestern part of West Virginia serving Logan and Mingo counties. Ch! arleston, the state capitol, is less than an hour's drive away. Located in Logan is Chief Logan State Park one of the most visited state parks in West Virginia and the home to The Aracoma Story and Christmas in the Park. Also located in the park is the Earl Ray Tomblin Convention Center and the recreation center that houses an olympic size pool, walking track and various exercise equipment. Both counties also provide access to the Hatfield-McCoy Trails, one of the largest off-highway vehicle trail systems in the world.
We serve all ages and those with mental illness, substance abuse and the ID/DD population. Primarily would be responsible for initial evaluations/assessments and medication checks. Must be licensed or licensable in West Virginia.
We offer an excellent fringe benefit package for full-time employees including educational leave and reimbusement for educational expenses depending upon degree. These positions are for Monday through Friday from 8:! 30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and DO NOT require you to be on-call.
