Description:
Psychiatrist needed for a unique, private integrative medicine and mental health p! ractice in Raleigh, NC. The practice integrates a holistic app! roach to wellness with western medicine and mental healthcare. Looking for a Psychiatrist to provide traditional mental health services. Must be willing to explore and integrative approach to health care partnerships with a naturopathic doctor. Must have experience in treating children and adults. Must be state licensed.
Psychiatrists are the primary caregivers in the area of mental health. They assess and treat mental illnesses through a combination of psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, hospitalization, and medication. Psychotherapy involves regular discussions with patients about their problems; the psychiatrist helps them find solutions through changes in their behavioral patterns, the exploration of their past experiences, or group and family therapy sessions
The psychiatrist must have sufficient experience to effectively provide psychiatric medical services for patients and family members as it relates to family therapy and shall have worked at least one ! of the past three years with children and adolescents. The psychiatrist shall be competent to treat children and adolescents for crisis intervention and ongoing psychotherapy/medical management.
