the state. Founded in 1983 and accredited by The Joint Commission,
our quiet campus has retained much of the cozy charm and character
that existed then. The BridgeWay currently has a Nursing
Supervisor position available.
Position Purpose: This
position functions as a clinical and administrative resource for the
Nursing Department. The Nursing Supervisor is an accomplished nursing
leader who is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily
needs of the Nursing Department. The position provides an
administrative role in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Effective oral and written communication skills and knowledge
of telephone etiquette is required.
2. Ability to interact in a
positive mann! er and to communicate well with patients, families,
co-workers, supervisor and other hospital employees.
3. Ability
to provide direction, support, and supervision.
4. Must be able
to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with frequent
interruptions.
Requirements
Licenses or Certifications:
Current nursing licensure in the state of Arkansas. Current CPR
and CPI certifications, or must obtain within 2-weeks of hire
(offered on-site).
Total education, vocational training and
experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Minimum five (5) years psychiatric experience, preferred. Documented
experience working with children (ages 5-12), adolescents (ages
13-18), and/or adults (ages 18 plus). Previous supervisory
experience preferred.
