Professional Performance Development Group is now interviewing Clinical Psychiatrists for the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Belle Chasse in New Orleans, LA
The ideal candidate will:
- Analyze and evaluate patient data and test or examine findings to diagnose nature and extent of brain injury or mental disorder.
- Prescribe, direct, and administer psychotherapeutic treatments or medications to treat mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders.
- Collaborate! with other physicians, social workers, psychologists, psychia! tric technicians, and other professionals to discuss treatment plans and patient progress.
- Design individualized care plans, using a variety of treatments based on patient history.

- Be a graduate from a medical school approved by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education of the American Medical Association OR the American Osteopathic Association OR possess certification by the Educational Council for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
- Have successfully completed a residency program in Psychiatry which has been approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate ! Medical Education OR the Committee on Postdoctoral Training of the American Osteopathic Association OR a Canadian training program approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or other appropriate Canadian medical authority.
- Possess a current, valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 US States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
- Possess board certification in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry or the American Osteopathic Association OR Possess residency training and not less than 3 years of experience within the last 5 years as a full-time Psychiatrist.
- Must have pertinent clinical experience within the past 2 years sufficient to demonstrate current clinical competency.
