The Visiting Med Surge RN is responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients on an intermittent basis in the home, providing care management, supervising the care provided by the home health aide and LPN, working collaboratively with the nursing supervisor to coordinate Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Social Services, Nutritional and Chaplain Services according to physician¿s orders and under the direction of the nursing supervisor. Qualifications:
Up to date Maryland RN license
Must take the Peg Assessment and pass
Home Health experience preferred
Two years full time experience in Medical/Surgical nursing within the past five years.
Police clearance, when applicable
CPR Certification
Speaks, reads and writes English.
