Little Flower Children and Family Services seeks a full-time Psychologist to provide oversight at various residential OPWDD programs, including our IRA, ICF’s and Family Care. May include working at other sites located in Brooklyn and Queens.
Responsibilities Include: Supervise and provide clinical oversite to Master’s level Psychologist including review and approval! of restrictive behavioral plans. Completion of annual and semiannual psychological assessments. Develop behavioral plans in response to identified needs. Monitor, review and summarize behavioral data monthly and amend plans as indicated. Provide training and clinical oversite to Direct Support Professionals on behavioral plans and appropriate proactive and reactive strategies. Participate in annual/semi-annual reviews for assigned participants. Participate in Incident Review and Human Rights meetings monthly. Annually prepare required written documentation for review by the Human Rights Committee. Obtain written consent from family/advocate for all psychotropic medication. Maintain ongoing communication with Psychiatrist; prepare written summary of status prior to all scheduled psychiatric appointments. As indicated, participate in psychiatric appointments and discharge meetings; follow-up on all inpatient hospitalizations. Maintain ongoing communication with family member! s and day service providers in an effort to ensure timely comm! unication of mental health/behavioral concerns.
QUALIFICATIONS/Requirements: PhD required. OPWDD related experience required.
