/Responsibilities: Fairmont Physicians Inc. is looking for qualified Psychiatrist to better serve the communityÂs behavioral health needs by providing in and outpatient behavioral health services for adult and geriatric patients for Fairmont Regional Medical Center, and Alecto Healthcare hospital. Duties include admissions evaluations, daily care of the assigned patients, discharge summaries, and treatment team leadership and management. All patient care is provided in a multidisciplinary treatment setting the team comprised of psychiatrists, counselors, professional nurses, social workers and other therapists. The Staff Psychiatrist position duties include admission evaluations, treatment planning and direct patient care working in the inpatient program. The caseload will be Adult and Geriatric patients with diverse psychiatric treatment issues. The ideal candidate will possess Psychiatry experience in an Inpatient behavioral health facility

Required Qualification: Education, Training & Experience (includes licenses or certifications). 1. MD/DO degree from an accredited program required 2. Board certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required 3. Licensed to practice in the State of West Virginia 4. Inpatient experience preferred 5. Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians The qualifications for the position are the minimum requirements needed to be successful in the position. The level of experience and expertise for the job is determined by the current amount of expertise in the unit/department. If training or experience is not required but would be desirable, it is listed as preferred however; persons without preferred background will be considered in the hiring proc ess.
