We are currently recruiting for the position of Janitor for a building in Dartmouth, NS
General Description: A janitor is generally responsible for the cleaning of all hard floor surfaces and carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and the collection and removal of garbage from drop points to a garbage bin. Other responsibilities could be included.
Location: Dartmouth
Schedule: Weekend and Holiday cleaner. Additional hours through the week once clear criminal background check is obtained.
A Criminal Background Check is a requirement for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Clean floors (mopping, sweeping)
- Daily cleaning of washrooms, offices, lockers rooms and lunchrooms
- Empties and cleans garbage cans
- Spot cleans walls, partitions, light switches, and doors
- Restocks single unit dispensers containing soap, towels, toilet tissue and sanitary napkins
- Dusts and damp wipes office equipment
- Additional duties may be required from time to time.
