JOB SUMMARY:
Maintain all Forklift Trucks, Material lifts, Aerial lifts and site support vehicles. Maintain facilities equipment and external grounds support for the site. Additionally, support maintenance department by performing the essential duties and responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain all forklift trucks, material lifts, aerial lifts, floor scrubbers and site support vehicles.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to all equipment as needed including forklift trucks.
Operate equipment in a safe and proper manner.
Provide hands on lift and vehicle operation training for site users.
Maintain repair shop area and adhere to audit evaluations of location.
Perform technical tasks on mechanical and electrical assemblies.
Will be trained and assigned as an attendant for fire watch and/or confined space.
Provide support to the inventory department and back up the role for parts receiving and shipping from this area.
Pick up and deliveries as needed with company vehicles to support the maintenance department.
Clear walkways of snow or ice during inclement weather.
Manage material lift shop area.
Parts resourcing and locating to support site.
Will be responsible for assessing property conditions to determine when they need maintenance.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must have valid operating license.
Previous experience in minor building maintenance repair is required.
Previous experience in material and aerial lift maintenance and repair including forklift trucks is required.
Ability to perform minor carpentry work is a plus.
Ability to work safely with hand and power tools is required.
Previous welding experience is a plus.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
