Description: Holyoke Medical Center is presently looking of MEDICAL DIRECTOR - Partial Hospitalization Program right now, this job will be placed in Massachusetts. An excellent opportunity for a board certified Psychiatrist to provide medical leadership, oversight, and direction for the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Program (PHP/IOP) and Outpatient Behavioral Health Service at Holyoke Medical Center.
As part of our multi-disciplinary treatment team, primary duties include direct psychiatric evaluation and care of PHP/IOP psychiatric and addictions patients; provide clinical supervision to the treatment staff; participate i! n treatment team planning; and work collaboratively with the m! edical staff as part of a psychiatric consultation service to assure quality of clinical care.
This 22 hour a week position also offers the opportunity to develop a psychiatric private practice on the Hospital campus at very reasonable office rental rates. Requirements include a c urrent license to practice medicine in the Comm. of Mass; current DEA license; and Certification as a Diplomat in the specialty of Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
