Responsibilities
Psychosocial assessments of psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department
Insurance prior authorizations
Crisis phone consultation
Admissions of psychiatric patients in consultation with psychiatrist and Mental Health staf! f
Must be able to physically participate in Code Green
Education
Masters Degree with license
Qualifications
Experience
Five years mental health clinical experience, crisis experience and hospital experience preferred
Skills
Crisis intervention, psychosocial assessments
Multidisciplinary team work
Knowledge of DSM IV
Knowledgeable of computer applications
Must be familiar with clinical criteria for all levels of care
Licensure/Certifications
License Required: LicSW, LPC, LPCC, LMFT, LP, LGSW
Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule
Part time position
20 hours per week
Location: Mercy Hospital
Night Shift
4 10 hour shifts every other weekend
