Handy Help LLC is seeking to contract with a Registered Nurse (RN) to assist clients in the community and Adult Foster Home setting to achieve and maintain their highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The position duties include, but are not limited to:
- Be knowledgeable and comply the standards of the Minnesota Department of Human Services and company policies and procedures
- Provide medication training and oversight of staff
- Be knowledgeable in professional nursing principles, practices! and ethics
- Demonstrate time management skills and abi! lity to work in a fast-paced environment
- Coordinate care with clients’ providers and work with pharmacies to re-fill medications
- Monitor vital signs, weights, and changes in client conditions
- Communicate effectively with collaborative providers including hospitals, skilled nurses, psychiatrists, case managers
- Maintain and perform all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner
- Motivated, self-directed, and value a team environment.
- Complete various tasks as directed by administrators
Minimum Qualifications:
1.Current license as a registered nurse in Minnesota
2.Minimum of two-five years’ experience in behavioral/mental health
3.Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements as defined by the Company’s insurance carrier
4.Ability to read and write English
5.Communicate effectively with internal and external personnel, both verbally and in writin! g.
6.Available to work on-call, weekends, and holidays as needed to address crisis situations, coach and problem-solve with staff
Compensation:
$35-$50 per hour DOE
