Job Description
This Category Manager role will form part of an established strategic procurement function. Your role will be to look after a portfolio of goods and services contracts. This will include;
- Manage a source to contract process for the suite of service agreements such as maintenance, construction, engineering and consumables
- Identify and implement category management plans to effectively deliver value through sourcing and contract management
- Manage the tender process including evaluation, recommendation and award
- Identify opportunities to deliver cost savings initiatives and contracts & procurement best practice
- Guide the stakeholders through the procurement & contract strategy to ensure there is alignment across the business
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have exposure to the source to contracts process within a strategic procurement environment. You will have a general understanding of processes including sourcing, tendering, evaluation and award though you don't need to be an expert.
Ideally you will have exposure to construction, infrastructure and various service contracts though if not, an interest in adding that category to your skill set. You will have experience managing stakeholders with the ability to influence and partner with them on the procurement and contracts activities.

- Salary of $140,000 - $160,000 (pro-rata) plus super or equivalent hourly rate
